Hi, I’m Hana, founder of Kumori.
I was born in Australia, but I’ve always been obsessed with the feeling of calm that comes when it rains. I used to work long nights in air-conditioned rooms that left the air dry and heavy. No matter how many plants or candles I added, something was always missing. I wanted that soft, refreshing atmosphere that makes you breathe easier.
So I started experimenting. I wanted something more than a humidifier. I wanted a piece that looked beautiful in any room, felt effortless to use, and brought back that quiet sense of balance we all need. Something that didn’t just sit there humming but actually set the mood.
That’s how Kumori was born, meaning “cloudy” in Japanese. It’s for people who want to turn their space into a sanctuary. Whether it’s your desk, bedside, or creative corner, our humidifiers are made to restore comfort and calm, one cool mist at a time.
